Just a note of mourning. My oldest piece of ham gear has gone to it's final resting place.

My poor old Kantronics KAM All mode had decoded it's last packet. I've had this since shortly after I got my ticket in 91... It's been a trusty friend, but alas, it's race is run...

He won't initialize anymore.. Reset pins do no good.. I think it's time to take him off of life support... <snif>

From the 10 meter openings of the 90's, through TCP/IP, to APRS you've been there for me..

Rest well old friend.... Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Check the voltage regulation circuit on the input... My KAM did the same thing, fixed by replacing the caps around the regulator.
