I have a APRS Igate station in South Beloit using a Alinco DR-135 MkIII with the EJ-41U internal TNC board, I am using a desktop computer with a Intel Pentium 4 processor, with Hyper-Threading Technology the CPU is 3.0 GHz, there is 2.0 GB of Ram.. The operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional. This is the same computer I use for Echolink. I'm back using UI-View32 tell I can get a TNC that will work in kiss mode then will go back to KJ4ERJ's APRSISCE APRS-IS client. The internal TNC will not do kiss mode does anyone else run this EJ-41U in a digi mode and how did you do it?

Q: Can I use the DR-135 as a freestanding packet digipeater or node ?
A: No. The EJ-41U unit is designed to fill basic packet communication functions, such as keyboard operations and APRS. For more elaborate operations requiring KISS mode, mailbox functions or node operations, an external TNC is required.
