Well, according to this CWOP setup page, the answer is that you have to use the format "DDMM.MMN" for latitude, and "DDDMM.MMW" for longitude, not UTM or "decimal degrees" format.... which is how a lot of programs display locations . For example, according to Streets and Trips, your address is about 41.73700 decimal degrees north latitude, and 87.71222 decimal degrees west logitude.
What you WANT is "Degrees Minutes Decimal Minutes" format, i.e., that DDMM.MM mentioned above. That means the .73700 is multiplied by 60, as is the .71222, so that you get is 4144.22N and 08744.73W as your entries.
