Does anyone know what happened to the WB9WOZ-15 digipeater in downtown Chicago? Does anyone know WB9WOZ well enough to contact him about it?

Bruce is a member here, under his callsign... Not sure whether or not he still has the same email address as he had when he signed up, and he hasn't checked in in since 2006, though.

It looks like the digi will be off the air until further notice.

I went down to the site and the building has been boarded up. In doing some research on the internet, the building was sold last year and was to be converted from commercial to condos. Work was started but looks like everything has stopped. I was able to see in one doorway, and the building looks gutted, there also appears to be no power. I was there on a weekday, so workers should have been there if the project was proceeding.
Even though my equipment had my contact info on it, no call or email from the management or contractor prior to going off the air.

As of now, I do not have another site.

Anybody has a contact for a high spot ( 480 ft or higher)
