Hello All,
McHenry County ARES/RACES would like to announce that we have installed a new digi at the government Center. We are using UI-View's digipeater function, but have the ability to switch over to the Kantronics KCP 3+ digipeater functions if neccessary. The digi is at 270 foot so it covers most of the county. We have set it up to follow the new WideN-n paradigm including ILn-N. We have also configured it to trap excessively large WideN-n values. The digi is set for Wide2-2 at present. The digi's call sign is K9ESV-10.
We also have the weather station at the EOC feeding data to UI-View which can be viewed on your APRS software. The call for the weather station is K9ESV-1.

Glad to hear it, Jim - I'll take KA9VNV-15 back off the air Saturday. |

Jeff,
We had a slight problem in the configeration file and could not get up to the EOC until today to fix it. It appears to be running good now.
